Built by an organizer who needed it himself

Command exists because the conservative movement deserves the same infrastructure the left has had for years.

Daniel Poynter

Founder

A direct descendant of Patrick Henry, Daniel has spent 20 years building software and 5+ years running state-level grassroots organizations. He grew a nonprofit to 7,000+ supporters and 500+ monthly donors, consults with leading conservative organizations through Technology for Freedom, and wrote a book profiling entrepreneurs solving problems without government mandates.

His work has been covered by CNN, Politico, The Washington Post, and others. He was recognized by Junior Achievement of Central Indiana as Best and Brightest in Education & Nonprofit, named a MacArthur Young Innovator, and selected for the Mitch Daniels Leadership Fellowship.

He built Command while operating Save Heritage Indiana, not as a side project, but because he desperately needed it to exist. After watching the same problems repeat across every conservative organization he worked with (spreadsheet chaos, volunteer dropoff, no way to identify emerging leaders), he decided to build the system himself.

The infrastructure gap is real

Progressive organizations have Mobilize (3,000+ orgs, 4 million volunteers in a shared pool), Action Network, Action Builder, and dozens of other purpose-built tools. These platforms won't serve conservative organizations.

On the right? We have spreadsheets, email chains, and heroic individual effort. The same 5 people do everything. Volunteer lists decay. Leadership emerges through politics, not results. And every election cycle, we start from scratch.

Command exists to close this gap.

Outcomes create status.
Status creates authority.
Authority produces leadership.

Most volunteer tools track activity: doors knocked, calls made, hours logged. Activity is easy to fake and doesn't predict reliability.

Command tracks outcomes: people recruited, money raised, training completed. Outcomes can't be faked. They reveal who actually delivers.

When outcomes are visible, status becomes earned. When status is earned, authority is legitimate. When authority is legitimate, leadership is durable.

This is how you build a movement that outlasts any single election cycle.

What We Believe

Our Values

Mission over metrics

We exist to help conservative organizations win, not to maximize our own growth at any cost.

Earned trust

We'll never cut you off for your beliefs. Your data is always yours. We say what we mean in our Terms of Service.

Results over activity

We measure what matters. Outcomes, not busywork.

Built to last

Command is designed for year-round engagement and multi-year relationship building, not just election cycles.
